Students Working Against Tobacco Club Ends the School Year with a Bang!
June 10, 2019
Before the last bell rang and school year was officially over, the SWAT club at Lake City Middle School put together goodie bags for every single student at their school. In each bag, they placed a few pieces of candy, a pencil, a word search with the effects of tobacco and most importantly a fact sheet about the dangers of electronic cigarettes.

With Summer on the horizon they made sure they also included a message about staying tobacco free over the break and the importance joining SWAT during the following school year.

It was a very successful event with many students showing interest in joining SWAT and learning more about the dangers of tobacco products.
